As the summer Himalayan sun warms the rock, a dark resin naturally seeps from the mountainside.
We never mine, dig or blast for it. Local harvesters collect it by hand between May and September — taking only what has naturally surfaced, so the mountain is left intact and the resin can re-form season after season.
It's a slow, low-impact way to source Shilajit that protects the landscape and supports the communities who gather it.
2. Dissolving
After harvest, the raw resin is gently dissolved in fresh spring water.
This step helps separate the water-soluble compounds, including fulvic acid, humic substances and bioavailable minerals, from natural grit and impurities.
The liquid is then left to settle so the purified solution can be carefully separated and prepared for the next stage.
3. Filtering & Concentration
Remaining sediment is gently removed through multiple filtration techniques, and what remains is a clean, mineral-rich solution that is slowly concentrated back into resin using low temperatures (below 40°C) to protect delicate compounds.
For our tablets, an additional gentle evaporation process reduces moisture to around 4–5%, creating a stable, concentrated form of dehydrated resin.
Final Resin
The result is a thick, purified resin naturally rich in fulvic acid and over 84 trace minerals.

You don't need to choose. Shilajit isn't a coffee replacement unless you want it to be. Plenty of Equil customers dissolve a tablet in their morning coffee or take it alongside it.
Here's why they actually pair well: coffee is a mild diuretic - it can flush trace minerals before your cells get a chance to use them. Fulvic acid, Shilajit's active compound, is a mineral transporter - it binds to minerals and carries them directly into cells. So in a sense, the Shilajit is quietly doing what coffee quietly undoes.

Wild-harvested from rock crevices in remote, high-altitude regions of the Uttarakhand Himalayas, our Shilajit is it seeps from rock crevices during warm summer months. It is then purified using traditional water-based methods (no chemical solvents).
